This policy informs you how Klive Asia Pte Ltd handles your Personal Data under the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (Cap. 26 )(“PDPA”). Under PDPA, Personal Data is defined as information about an individual who can be identified from that data; or from that data and other information to which the organization has or is likely to have access.
Klive Asia Pte Ltd collects, uses or discloses Personal Data for reasonable business purposes only if there is consent or deemed consent from the individual and information on such purposes have been notified or is required or allowed under applicable laws.
We collect information you voluntarily provide to us, such as your name, job title, company name, company address, phone number, and email address, when you inquire about our services via email, phone, or through our website. This information is used solely for business-to-business (B2B) purposes.
When you communicate or interact with us via our website, contact forms, email, telephone, social media platforms, recruitment portals, face-toface meetings or other communication channels.
Collection of your Personal Data
Klive Asia Pte Ltd collects your Personal Data through the following means:
when you communicate and interact with us via telephone, website, e-mail, letters, face-to-face meetings, social media, mobile applications and others.
when you contact us through our telephone lines or hotlines,
when you visit our premises, your image may be recorded by our CCTV system for security reasons.

You have the right to object to any of our collection, use and/or processing by writing to our Data Protection Officer (DPO) at the email address below. Upon receipt of your objection, we will notify you of the consequences of us acceding to the same, including any effects it may have in fulfilling our provision of products and services to you. We seek to address objections, complaints or feedback relating to your choices within 10 business days. Should we require more time, we will inform you of the time frame by which we can fully address your objections or requests.
We only collect, process, use or disclose such Personal Data, in accordance with this policy. If you are acting as an intermediary, or otherwise on behalf of a third party, or supply us with information regarding a third party, you undertake that you are an authorized representative or agent of such third party and that you have obtained consent from such third party to our collection, processing, use and disclosure of their Personal Data. Because we are collecting the third party’s data from you, you undertake to make the third party aware of all matters listed in this policy, preferably by distributing a copy of this policy to them or by referring them to our website.
How we use your Personal Data
Klive Asia Pte Ltd collects and uses your Personal Data for the following purposes:
respond to requests or for the purposes for which it was provided to us as stated at the time of the collection (or as is obvious from the context of collection);

For Job Applicants
If you apply for employment with Klive Asia Pte. Ltd., we may collect personal data such as your resume, qualifications, employment history and portfolio for the purpose of:

retaining your application for future suitable opportunities where permitted by law or with your consent.

Disclosure of your Personal Data
Klive Asia Pte Ltd may disclose Personal Data for the following reasons:
to any other party to whom you authorize us to disclose your Personal Data;
to an intern, employee or an independent contractor or data intermediary providing services to support Klive Asia Pte Ltd, who are under a duty of confidentiality to Klive Asia Pte Ltd;
to the extent necessary to comply with laws, guidelines, directions and other similar requirements.
Klive Asia Pte Ltd does not disclose Personal Data to third parties except when we have your consent or deemed consent, is required by law or where we have engaged contractors or data intermediaries. Any such third parties whom we engage are required to comply with the PDPA.
Withdrawal, Access, Correction, and Enquiry
You may refuse or withdraw your consent given, or deemed to have been given, for us to collect, use or disclose your Personal Data by giving us reasonable notice, in writing. Where you do so, this may affect our ability to provide our product or service to you. We will stop (and cause any of our contractors or data intermediaries to stop) collect, using or disclosing the Personal Data unless it is required or allowed under applicable laws.
Please note that withdrawing your consent for purposes essential to fulfilling our contractual obligations or providing our services may have consequences. We will review your request and inform you of any implications before proceeding. We aim to process your withdrawal request within 10 business days after verifying your identity. If we require additional time, we will notify you of when we expect to fully address your request.
For access and correction requests, we strive to process them within 30 calendar days after verifying your identity. If additional time is needed, we will inform you of the expected timeframe for completing your request. Please be aware that an administrative fee may be charged for processing your request to access your personal information, and we will notify you of any applicable fee in advance.
Accuracy, Safeguard and Retention
Klive Asia Pte Ltd relies on you to ensure that your Personal Data provided is complete, true and accurate. Whenever necessary, we will validate the information you provide using widely accepted practices. If we have an ongoing relationship with you, it is important that you inform us of any changes to your information.
To safeguard your Personal Data, all electronic storage and transmission of Personal Data are secured with appropriate security technologies. Additionally, we have established effective organisational practices to uphold the confidentiality and integrity of your information, sharing it only with authorized personnel on a strict ‘need to know’ basis.
Klive Asia Pte Ltd will keep your Personal Data for as long as it is required for business or legal purposes. Once your Personal Data is no longer required for these purposes, we will destroy, erase or make anonymous the Personal Data.
Cross-Border Transfer
We generally do not transfer your personal data to countries outside of Singapore. However, if such a transfer is necessary, we will ensure it is conducted lawfully and will take appropriate measures to ensure that your personal data continues to receive protection standards that are at least comparable to those provided under the PDPA.
Data Breach notification
In the event of a breach security leading to accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure of, or access to, personal data, we shall promptly assess the impact and once assessed that it is a notifiable data breach, we shall report this breach within 3 calendar days to the Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC). We will notify you when the data breach is likely to result in significant harm to you after our notification to PDPC. We may also notify other relevant regulatory agencies, where required.
If we act as a Data Intermediary, we will promptly notify the relevant Data Controller of any data breach without undue delay, enabling them to assess the impact and fulfil their data breach notification obligations promptly.
